Project Description: The project site is located at the intersection of Kentucky Street and Prospect Street, is in a Residential 3 (R-3) zoning district, and is within the Oakhill-Brewster Historic District. The project scope addresses the rear garage that faces Prospect Street, does not include the primary dwelling, and does not introduce additional landscape to the site. The project’s Phase 1 involved hillside stabilization accomplished by construction of new retaining walls, concrete slab, drilled piers, and site drainage, approved with building permit file number BLDR-2024-0424. The Minor HSPAR application is Phase 2 of the project, and it is for the garage rehabilitation with the addition of a new shop of 630 square feet and a new roof deck of 2,125 square feet.
