The project will remove and replace existing sewer main lines on B Street, E Street, 5th Street and Hinman Lane. The project will also include upgrading an existing water main for fire flow capacity, and pavement rehabilitation on all impacted streets.
Project Manager: Dan Herrera, Senior Civil Engineer
During final paving, newly paved roads will continue to be closed to all traffic during construction. All traffic restrictions will be posted for drivers with signage. Ingress and egress to homes and businesses will be maintained. Drivers are recommended to use surrounding streets to navigate around downtown.
Update: January 21, 2020
The Sewer main work has been completed along B Street between 4th Street and Post Street. Water Main and Water Service installation has begun and should be completed by February. Installation of ADA curb ramps is underway in the vicinity of the project. Access to the area will be closed in certain spots to facilitate construction activities to ensure safety to the public. Once all concrete and water main installation are complete, all affected streets will have final paving installed.
