Farmer’s Day is June 21
The 4th District Agricultural Association is bringing back all your favorite agricultural programs and exhibits – including Farmer’s Day on June 21!
Opening ceremonies start at 12:30 p.m., and the following events will be featured throughout the afternoon:

New! Art & Magic
This year’s Fair adds to some of your favorite traditions with new elements of art and magic!
Join us under the big top with Flynn Creek Circus, where acrobats defy gravity—free with admission. Around the fairgrounds, magician Joe Culpepper dazzles daily with mind-bending illusions, while balloon artist Dennis Forel roams the midway with over 100 whimsical balloon animals.
There will be laughter and surprise around every corner—thanks to Misty and the Sandman’s blend of comedy, hypnotism, and tarot, and interactive moments like Wonderstump’s engaging art at the heart of the Expo Hall. Don’t miss the chance to see Jonny Hirschmugl painting live and marvel at his giant crows near the Kiwanis beer booth!
You can also sit a spell on Patrick Amiot’s quirky bench or snap a photo with Michael Garlington’s “True Heart of Petaluma” mural. There will be something for everyone at this year’s Fair!

Age-Friendly Fair
This year’s Petaluma Fair is designed with comfort, inclusivity, and accessibility in mind. We’re proud to introduce several new amenities that make the fair more Age-Friendly than ever before—ensuring everyone from toddlers to seniors can fully enjoy the festivities.
You’ll find hydration stations throughout the fairgrounds offering free water and cups to help you stay refreshed. Need a break from the sun? Relax under one of our shaded tents equipped with seating, perfect for catching your breath or enjoying a snack. If the heat becomes overwhelming, step into our air-conditioned Respite Center—a welcoming space to cool down and recharge.
For fair-goers who may need a sensory break from the hustle and bustle, we’re also offering a dedicated Sensory Zone: a calming environment designed to provide relief from loud sounds and crowds.
Whether you’re here for the carnival, entertainment, or exhibits, we’re making sure that everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and accessible fair experience. Come celebrate with us—comfortably!
Greening the Fair
Have you heard that Petaluma is a Finalist for the All-America Cities Award because of our amazing community-based sustainability initiatives? It’s true – we love to go green here in Petaluma, and the Fair is no different!

Going Green at the Fair
- Bike to the Fairgrounds! We’ll have 40 first-come/first-served bike parking spots in front of the ticketing booth at the Main Fair entrance.
- Food Vendors will be using approved recyclable/compostable foodware.
- The sale of plastic water bottles is prohibited this year – instead, we’ll have refillable water stations throughout the Fair (so don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle!). You can also purchase aluminum bottles at the Fair.
By reducing plastic waste at the Fair, we can help keep our beloved Fairgrounds clean and tidy for the people and animals who use the property all year round. Thanks for helping us preserve the Fairgrounds, Petaluma!
Fast Times at the Petaluma Speedway
For the first time in over a decade, the Petaluma Speedway will be hosting a demolition derby on Sunday, June 22nd, during the annual Petaluma Fair! Before the Derby, the Speedway will also host new BMX programming for the whole family starting at 11 a.m.
Your ticket price includes all the events below on the last day of the Fair – a great reason to purchase this year’s 4-day pass!
- 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.: Free Community BMX Rides – Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride your bike on a BMX track? Bring your bike to try the track. All ages are welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out, everyone gets a chance to experience the thrill of the track.
- 4:00-6:00 p.m.: Petaluma BMX Straight Rhythm – Watch in awe as riders compete head-to-head in high-speed straight-line races
- 6:00 p.m.: Demolition Derby – A unique and exciting performance of destruction and mayhem!

Are you ready to plan your trip to the Fair? Parking will be available at the Fairgrounds, with the help of our local Sea Scouts troop. But if you’d rather spend the parking fee on Fair treats or at the Maker’s Market, you can save room in your budget by taking Petaluma Transit to the Fair!
