Hello, Petaluma —
June is heating up! Later this week, the National Weather Service (NWS) is advising hotter than normal temperatures between 93-102 degrees in many inland Sonoma County areas. Here in Petaluma, we’re expected to reach around 91 degrees Friday. Enjoy the sunshine and stay cool!
This evening we’re sharing important information about emergency preparedness (do you know your evacuation zone?), rebate programs and free water saving supplies, as well as upcoming street closures. We also have some fun items about Petaluma featured in film and on TV, events to enjoy this summer, and more. Please enjoy, share with friends, and have a wonderful evening. We’ll see you in your inbox next Wednesday!

Disaster can strike unexpectedly and move fast. Planning ahead for yourself, your loved ones, and your neighbors is a crucial step in making it through the unexpected safely.

Please stay tuned to this Community Update email, like and follow us on social media, and visit cityofpetaluma.org/emergencyprep to learn more.
Know Your Zone
The County of Sonoma manages a county-wide evacuation map that is used to help identify areas that are under threat either by fire, flood, earthquake, or power outage. This is essential information if evacuation warnings and orders are issued.
