Frank Quint
Frank grew up in a working-class family in Rochelle, Illinois, a factory town surrounded by agriculture lands, similar to Petaluma. He joined the military after high school where he served as a Tanker and Military Policeman. Frank returned stateside to attend college at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. After college Frank continued to work in the shipping and transportation sector where he’s held leadership positions for companies such as Target and his current employer RH (formerly Restoration Hardware).
Frank and his wife Kristi moved to Petaluma in 2010, and they adopted their son Jackson in 2013. Jackson attends La Tercera elementary school. Petaluma’s charm, affordability, and location were all factors in their decision to make Petaluma their home. Petaluma checked all the boxes for raising a child and creating a community for their family. Frank has served on Sonoma County’s search and rescue team, he has coached youth flag football, CYO basketball, and Little League baseball. He currently serves as the Safety Officer on the Board of Directors for the Petaluma Valley Little League. Frank also served on the City of Petaluma’s Transit Advisory Committee (TAC) and Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee (PBAC). Lastly, Frank loves to get around town on his bicycle. He believes that when you ride through our neighborhoods on a bike, you move through them more intently, you begin to take them in, and you begin to care for them more deeply. Taking care of Petaluma’s present and future is what motivates Frank to serve on the City Council now.
