Family Bike Workshop
Looking for a fun, healthy, and eco-friendly family activity? Join the Sonoma Bike Coalition and Petaluma Parks and Recreation for their Family Bike Workshop on Saturday, June 22 at Lucchesi Park!
The topics covered at the event are
- Lane positioning and riding in the same direction as cars on the road.
- Intersection right of way and crossing.
- Obeying stop signs and traffic.
- Hand signals.
- Handling skills for safe riding.

The Bicycle Coalition’s certified cycling instructors for a fun workshop for parents and kids. Children must be able to ride a bike and ready to take to the road with their parents. Parents are allowed to trail their children in trailers or child seats too. Children and parents must participate in the clinic together and bring their own bikes and helmets.
