Fairgrounds Planning Process

Owned by the City and leased by the Sonoma-Marin Fair organization, the 60-acre Fairgrounds property is an incredible community asset. It serves as a community gathering and celebration space; a support for our agriculture heritage, education, and industry; and a place for our community in-need during emergencies.

Over the next year, the City and the Fair will be reaching out to the community to envision the best uses and experiences for this tremendous community asset.

The first step the City Council and the Fairboard will take together towards future fairgrounds planning is to decide how best to work with the community to envision the Fairgrounds future.  If you would like to be informed when meetings take place, please subscribe below.
