The City of Petaluma has made significant efforts to assure that playgrounds meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards and Consumer Product Safety Guidelines. Playgrounds that are deemed inadequate are identified and replaced as funding becomes available. The Playground Replacement Capital Improvement Project (CIPC00400205), is a multi-year project with the most recent play structure being replaced in Miwok Park in October of 2019. Bond Park has been identified as the next priority for replacement followed by play structures at Grant, and Anna’ s Meadow Parks.
