The police station on Petaluma Blvd. North has inadequate space for basic departmental operations and staff. There are also functional issues with the restroom facilities. This project is a short-term measure to remodel the current detention (jail cell) area, which is no longer certified or usable in that capacity due to updated DOJ standards, to create space for staff workstations and offices.
