City funds are part of the annual City budget and are allocated at the discretion of the City Council with input from City staff and the community. Our goal is to make the most of these funds by pairing them with “matching” grants from outside agencies – a grant which provides money to fund a project with the requirement that we match that amount using City or local funds.
