The Shollenberger Park Outdoor Environmental Education Project consists of two main improvements: 1) A new environmental education kiosk with added information on native vegetation to be located at the Adobe Creek Interpretive Area, and 2) An outdoor amphitheater for environmental education lectures and demonstrations to be used by the public and Petaluma third-grade classes.
Street traffic will not be impacted. However, during the project, the areas under construction will not be accessible to the public.
The project is being funded by a grant and is a collaboration between the City of Petaluma and the Petaluma Wetlands Alliance. The grant has been awarded and is currently being put out to bid.
This project has not bid yet.
