The application is for a streamlined affordable housing development pursuant to SB35. The new construction project includes up to 49 affordable housing units and one manager unit within a 61,393 sf 4-story building on a 3.47 acre site. The units will be targeted as rentals to families earning between 30% and 80% of AMI. The proposal includes 67 on-site vehicular parking spaces accessed from Caulfield Lane. The existing site is undeveloped and is a remainder parcel from the Quarry Heights subdivision. In 2010 the City received an irrevocable offer of dedication for the portion of the site that would be for Caulfield Lane, and has not yet been completed, but will need review in conjunction with this process.
