Lucchesi Skatepark Project Public Art

The City of Petaluma is getting ready for the Lucchesi Skatepark Project, a vision to bring a state-of-the-art, 23,000 square foot skatepark to Lucchesi Park. The skatepark will be located in the area near Novak Drive surrounded by the baseball field, soccer field, Boys & Girls Club, and tennis courts. As part of the overall project, public art will be featured on the vertical surfaces of the skatepark. City staff is preparing a request for proposals (RFP) that will be open to artists (or teams) of all experience levels. Applicants will create and submit plans for the skatepark walls. After the RFP deadline, the Petaluma Public Art Committee (PPAC) will select and award an artist (or team) the contract to produce the artwork on site at the new skatepark.  More details are coming soon, please sign up to get email updates.
