D Street Bridge Improvements
Project Description
This project will replace the main motor drives, thruster brakes and disconnects, control console communication, and all exterior surface mounted conduits on the D Street Bridge.
The need for these improvements was identified after the City inspected and assessed the Bridge in response to recent equipment failures. This project will be funded through the Street Maintenance fund.
Traffic Impact
Street traffic along the bridge will be impacted during construction. Any other areas under construction will not be accessible to the public.
Project Status
The City of Petaluma is currently working with the engineering and consulting firm AECOM to prepare construction plans and specifications for the project and anticipates going out to bid in February 2020.
