The project will make repairs to the building’s exterior to prevent water from coming in and to protect the interior, which has been damaged by leaks in the roof and windows. The project includes repairs to gutters and flat roofing, exterior building panels, and select windows. As the funding allows, interior doors, walls, ceilings, aging heating and ventilation equipment, and lighting will be repaired or replaced.
No traffic impact to roadway. Minimal impact to pedestrians depending on area of work.
The project started in 2019 with the replacement of more than 4,500 square feet of vinyl flooring. The current project will replace the main roof gutter, and select building panels and window section. The work will continue into 2024, and later, and will be scheduled around the center’s operation.
The roof gutter and window replacement project was awarded for construction in June 2023.
