Lynch Creek Trail Upgrades

Project Description

The City is excited to announce we are moving forward with improvements to the Lynch Creek Trail!

The trail, which runs along Lynch Creek and connects the east and west sides of town via a passage under Highway 101, will be updated in the spring of 2024. Updates along the trail will include:

  • Trail maintenance work (including new pavement, improving drainage, and cutting back vegetation to improve sight lines) from North McDowell Blvd. south to the pedestrian bridge near Holly Lane
  • Construction of a concrete pathway from Payran Street to Edith Street

Once completed, the pathway will have a smooth surface to allow pedestrians, bicyclists, and wheelchair users to travel comfortably, efficiently, and safely through the area.
