Mark Drive Safety Upgrades

Project Description

The City of Petaluma received concerns from the community regarding pedestrian safety at the intersection of Mark Drive and Eric Court. Our teams investigated and have determined safety upgrades were required for pedestrian and fire safety.

We painted curbs red for improved visibility at the intersection of Mark Drive and Eric Court to increase pedestrian safety and provide clear access to fire hydrant for emergency vehicles. While every effort was made to retain as many parking spaces as possible, the work will resulted in removal of some spaces that border the intersection and the fire hydrant.
